Hi, I need to go to Ireland to grooms port to catch up with good friends who are moving there today.
What dates have you picked, how long will you be staying and do you want someone to travel with???

Thanks for the link as we will now be definitely going in May as well as August (I know the offer doesn't apply in August).

We will be going in August after the Bristol Balloon festival and will come back in September so availing of the cheap price! It usually costs a lot more.

Ferries to Ireland are so expensive - we can get a ferry to Johannesburg cheaper I'm sure.

Why is it so bloody expensive? It's not the time, it's not that no one is on the ferries? I just don't get it. I'm sure if the ferries to Ireland were a little cheaper there would be thousands of us queuing at the ports.

Anyone care to substantiate the cost v to France/Spain so I can get a grip on understanding it.

Regards,

Trikeman.;)

dont know why they are so expensive - always been the way - and as you say its not as if there is no body going as the ferries are usually busy.

Struggling to book this on my phone. Does it need to be on a laptop? ?

Phone them Sue, or send them the details of the crossings you would like to book, mention the ICCC offer....give them your phone number, and they will call you back. The email is bookings@irishferries.com Janie :-)
