My PVC is based on a 2015 Fiat Ducato with the flip up map holder with clip in the centre of the dash. Has anyone devised a way of securing a 9.7” IPad to this holder or perhaps you know of a commercial figment? I should prefer not to damage the holder if possible, but if needs must.

They don't use the flip up holder but Brodit do vehicle specific mounts, for which you then attach an item specific holder.

Just select your vehicle and then your item. Not cheap, but pretty good.

Thanks Stroppy Bird, I’ve tried similar Ram mounts, and have one for my IPhone, problem is they are not in my sight line and I have to look down rather than glancing at the screen hence the reason for wanting to fix to the map holder.

+1 for Brodit... superb

On my original flip up with just the clamp I fixed a ram iPad mount on some brackets. It did involve drilling two holes in the pop up. I’ve now swapped across to the newer pop up that has an iPad holder in built.

You can just about make it out in this poor pic.

Thanks for the replies guys but I’ve found the solution! I have a RAM Mounts tablet holder. I removed the mounting ball, then placed piece of non slip drawer liner between the map holder and tablet holder and secured it with reusable cable ties (what would I do without them!) it seems solid and cost me nothing, always a bonus!6C191ACC-3DCF-4811-ABB7-D6CD164503C7.jpeg99A2E3A1-D3EA-407B-9903-3357633D4D55.jpeg
