Hi All can anyone recommend a good quility inverter and are they easy to wire in??I have a carthago chic-c-line 2018.

regards Joe

There's a link in my signature block to a thread on how I wired mine in. It can be done simpler and not wired into the existing sockets as the inverter will have one or two sockets you can use instead.

I went for a relatively cheap one but you can spend a lot more on them if you want the reassurance of an established make.

You need to work out what you plan to use it for first so you can size it correctly and ensure your batteries are up to it.

As stated above really depends on what you plan to use and how much power you need.
Remembering that whatever you take out needs to be replenished, so high use items can take lots out in minutes but can take hours and hours to replace with say solar panels..

I see you have an Elegance 810. Not sure how that compares to my i800 where the batteries are under the lift up seat behind the driver. I bought and fitted one of these only a few weeks ago. Main use is wife's hairdryer, would have liked a bigger 2,000 watt unit but was to long for the space. EDIT.... LOOKS LIKE YOU CHANGED VANS
Amazon product ASIN B07GNV38F2
Lots of video's on youtube..

Is it just me, or have signature blocks disappeared?
I can't see them using my mobile phone but I think they were there when I was using my tablet a couple of weeks ago before it died. There is an option in your preferences not to see them - you could check if this has been ticked.

Using an iPad, I’m seeing 7 links in your signature, hope that helps ??

LOL, it’s coming back to me now, a little dejâ vu  I turned them off last week !

Just had a 2K inverter fitted to our Cathargo at VanBitz. Very easy to use as it is wired in automatically to all the sockets. Not the cheapest solution but by far the best. We can even use the coffee machine when we are off grid
