I want to plug in a 300 watt inverter into the vans Hab system. If I then use it to charge a MacbookPro laptop which uses a 60 watt charger plug. Allowing for losses, what am loading the system with ?? The socket runs from a 10 amp fused circuit.. I will be most grateful if one of you techno electrical wizards could help ....PS. I think the laptop charger works at between 18 and 20 volts.

If you are charging something that requires 60 Watts, then you will be drawing 5 Amps plus a little bit for the invertor loss

Thanks CJB.. I got tangled up with the 20 volt draw at 60 watts and came up with 3 amps "plus a bit" for losses.
This getting old lark has dulled my brain.. PS.. Where did the "Thanks" box go ??

If you only want it to charge the laptop why not use one of these?
