I have my inverter 2000w/4000 running from 2 KS energy 200ah (each) Lithium batteries. The inverter will run fine for the first minute using the micro wave or kettle, then beeps trips out, and then starts again for 5 seconds or so then trips, and keeps doing this.
The batteries have a max dicharge continuous of 150ah (each) and Im drawing 70 ah from them when using the microwave.
The inverter is linked with 35mm cables via a 250a trip fuse like the one below.
I stripped the cables and unscrewed the fuse so I could feel them in use, the cable didnt get hot but the fuse does...on the back side. You can touch it but it does feel hot.
My question is, does the inverter know the temp of this fuse, and trips because of that (the fuse doesnt trip) and what does anyone recommend to try and solve it. (apart from using gas to warm my beans and kettle )
It works fine for the first minute and if on lower wattage. DO i replace the fuse with a proper inline one maybe? I thought the inverter was faulty at first, till I swapped it with another.
thanks
