I have recently purchased a new 600 W inverter and fitted to my leisure battery as per instructions and it has been brilliant. After not using for several weeks due to being on EH I am getting an alarm and warning light. Liesure batteries anre only 12 months old. Fuses are ok.
Any suggestions please?
Thank you.

Inverters use some power even when not in use.
My money is on a flat battery causing the low voltage alert on the inverter to sound.
You need to turn off at the nverters on/off switch when not using it.

Assuming EH is electrical hookup, do your leisure batteries not charge when connected to 240v?

What is EH and where is the alarm/light coming from ?

I guess first thing is measure leisure batt volts.

E/H is electric hookup so no need to use inverter. The alarm.warning light is on the front of the inverter beside the 3 pin plug socket.
The lisure battery is in excellent condition and fully charged.

If the cables are good then the inverter has had it. Is it a good brand? As the cheapo chinese ones do seem to be unreliable and rarely will run at the full rated power for long.

We had a similar problem,it turned out that the wiring used was not suitable and it ended up draining one of the leisure batteries therefor alarm was coming on.We ended up taking to Auto electroin ,he put the correct wiring on and we have had no trouble since.
