Inverter direct to solar (1 Viewer)

Just a thought.

Has anyone wired a 12v socket direct to the solar control and then connected an inverter to it (run directly from the panel instead of going to another battery)?

Obviously I appreciate that it's effectiveness will depend on the sun.

The source impedance is too high to support an inverter, as soon as you load the panel the volts will fall away.
