Hello All,
Just joined your forum, am completely new to motorhoming and looking forward to learning all there is to know! We (wife and I) bought or first motorhome late last year and have it sitting in secure storage ready for use this year. We have plans to venture up to the west coast of Scotland in June and then cross the channel to France for a couple of weeks in September, hopefully lots of weekend use inbetween!
Best Regards,
C

I do hope your weekends away are not just between those holiday dates. It’s never too soon to get it out of storage and use it, you dont have to go far.
It will thank you for being driven more often!

Welcome.

I hope you have been looking after those batteries, whilst in storage, or methinks you are going to have a little bit of trouble. :ROFLMAO:  :notworthy: o_O

Go to France first. Whilst there you can buy something called Apisyl from the local pharmacie. It will treat your mozzie bites in Scotland really well !!!
Welcome aboard

Hello Coppercoin, welcome, hope you go regularly to check your van even if in secure storage, is it alarmed, do you have a means of keeping the battery topped up. Get out and use it they are an expensive ornament. Really needs to be taken for a decent run every so often.
Lecture over, it's a great lifestyle, hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Thank you all for your kind words!
In answer to scotzsue's remark, I don't get to the motorhome as much as I would like / should, but am hoping to have more time to play with it soon! I am planning on adding a couple of mains power points, an additional lounge area table fixing and a tow bar in the next few weeks (hopefully?).
