Hi thank you for the kind comments. I've never done anything like this before but always fancied giving it a go. It's going to be used for towing my race car / weekends away and annual pilgrimage to Isle of Man for the tt and Manx (with a bike on board). It's bit of experiment and if works well Ile build one on newer platform at later date.

I've spent a fair bit of time researching but it will be quite a basic build to keep weight down but hoping to make it a bit different. Spec will be propex blow air heater, Smev sink / cooker combo, 240/12v wiring, fully insulated. I've got all the parts now so no excuses !!!

Ime at the stage now wiring first fix completed, side panels fitted (Ile post some images of these fitted later as not taken any yet), Windows / roof light done, frames for furniture made.

Next job is to make trim panels for side and rear doors and fit headlining / side panel final covering. Then make the furniture panels which Ime not looking forward to never having used a router.

Ime hoping to make it a little bit quirky the wall light is the front section of a bonnet of a classic car picked up for couple of quid at autojumble I then got American car interior light which I will mount underneath to creat down lighter over sink / cooker. For main light I have small 5" headlamp glass of old sit up and beg ford popular which Ime planning to use.

Hope you like

Hi just a quick update I've been continuing with the conversion and now making the furniture. Flooring will be down this weekend and all units made. It's then a matter of final fitment of the furniture and sort out the sliding bed.
Then it's electrics and trim final fitment and sort out the van headlining (recover).
Then on to the outside to design some graphics and tone down the yellow (black roof / bonnet apron / alloy wheels and probably graphics in graphite grey).
Shouldn't be to long - I hope !!!!!!
