Intresting ,anybody Used ?

I looked at the Tees-side area and all it has listed are supermarkets and a couple of "potential rest stops", one of which is a definite no and the others of which are dodgy.
The CC site at Whitewater and the several CLs/CSs are not marked at all.

Thought possibly that as a free site ,one of the ones our way (Jennycliff) you can park but it slopes to the sea and on a hill

well a good effort by someone and pleased to see the Lazy Buzzard listed as affordable camping, thank you whoever included that. Note the rest stops are listed as "Potential" only with no other comment which is fair enough if one is not suitable you can always move on to the next, none of them are definitely overnight stops merely rest stops. It would be handy to be able to view it offline, must be a way to do that.

I thought, this looks good, but it was then disappointing. Disused old roads as rest spots that don't actually exist. Large supermarkets with McDonalds attached, not listed. Obviously rated Fish & Chips is opinion, but two glaring mistakes from the Salisbury / Southampton / Portsmouth area.

I will attempt to use it out and about and then form an opinion.

Thank you for Posting...Griff

ps...... agree with Roger, must be able to use it off-line.

The co-ordinates given for each location don't mean anything on google maps, what am I doing wrong?

The two suggested rest area near Dumfries aren't ones I'd recommend, 1 is a layby on a busy road the other is a small part of disused road right outside two houses so would think it would be ideal place to stay.
I think someone might have just looked at Google and noticed some lay-bys and thought they look good.
