I am away at the moment on a site and tried out a Vu zero box I use at home , I tried it on the site wifi via my Motorhome wifi iboost system with a cat 5e lead from iboost to Vu box and it was a very watchable live picture of the Russian GP , I thought I would try it via my iphone with 4g signal via the iboost system but I could not get a picture , I have taken photos of the main screen of the iboost showing the signal I was getting on both the site wifi and my phone and wondered if any tech minded folk coud advise from the readings why it would not work via my phone

What did you get working via the 4G signal?
Could you stream content on a smart phone or tablet that’s connected to the same internet source?
Maybe the Vu box has a high threshold on the quality of signal. Like bandwidth & jitter
Not knowing much about the Vu box, I’m not sure where the problem can be from what info is provided.

Although, one SSID mode has security enabled and one is open.
Do they have to match?

Maybe the clue is on the “Network” or “System” tab

I can watch live tv on sky go on my iphone when it is connected via motorhome iboost wifi which in turn is tethered to my wifes iphone

Hmm! Interesting little problem.
I’m not sure why some devices can use the iBoost wifi and a wired device not be happy - just by changing the data source from site WiFi to “tethered”.
Hope someone who knows the Vu box or Iboost better pops in

^^^ is the “Rinas iPhon” device set to “low data mode”?

If that mode is enabled that could mess up the Vu zero box
