On a site in Colwyn Bay, last night no way I could connect to internet from PC, but iphone would access anything I wanted.

Today same issue. Until I started itunes in the background, now straight in, no issues.

Anyone else with an iphone found this?

Not much help Peter but if you had a Nokia E72 you could use it as a modem instead of the dongle (with no signal)

Can you use your IPhone as a modem for your laptop? :roflmto:

JJ

PS How do you wind up an IPhone owner?

ask "Could you bluetooth that to me please...?"

So what is the "must have" for the thrusting young executive these days then? is it an iPhone or a Blackberry?

Is there a breed of super-consultant who has both and do they charge extra for the time it takes them to sync the two?

IMHO Graham, IPhones and Backberrys while both being ok as smart phones have gained a slightly inflated reputation as a result of great marketing.

The Nokia range of smart phones have always seemed to me to have more capability than the other two (especially if you are a PC man rather than an Apple disciple.)

Now, much wiser people than me tell me Android phones are in the lead in this particular Gadget Game... will have to check 'em out... don't want to be caught with an unfashionable phone do I?

You've less chance of being unfashionable than me JJ - I've never even heard of Android phones ::bigsmile:

I've had a coupe of Nokias (not very smart ones) but my current one is a Sony Ericsson C510. Still not very smart but can use it as a modem with the netbook or with the Palm PDA & wireless keyboard.

Easy, Iphone

Don't think you can get Angry Birds on a Blackbury.
