That's it with Nature programmes isn't it ... they take you from a high to a low from a high to a low again all the time.. I struggle to watch them when you know the bambi is gonna be killed for example .. I'm in and out of the room like stuck revolving door ... but isn't nature truly amazing and doesn't it have so much to teach man.

Yes!
And every now and again someone listens/notices that nature is warning us....If it hadn't been for dying and infertile birds we'd still be plastering the fields with DDT and other noxious crap!
However so many of our fields are now like wild life deserts that we have no idea what the agri chemical companies are getting us to swallow. (pun warning there for the unwary).

She's looking a bit stressed/ overheated this morning, but then the sun's blazing right onto her through the box opening. Can't be that warm this early surely? - but she's 'panting' with her beak wide open...

There's a lot of heat generated when incubating eggs apparently. Think she's OK, certainly hope so!
