Someone who I haven't seen for quite a long time was standing in her large garden chatting over the low fence to her next-door neighbour in his large garden. She called me over to join in the conversation but George disappeared into his shed.

After a couple of minutes I said "we should be doing this out on the pavement. And you shouldn't have been talking to George like that neither".

So we continued happily for another few minutes and then I went on my way .
