Intelsat 907 Satelite

Have they changed the footprint or blocked Intelsat 907. Quicksat 85 with decoder box worked fine 2 years ago but recently in Spain (Benidorm area) it locked onto the Sat in question but no signal at all. Luckily we got decent internet and Firestick. Any sensible advice appreciated.

When 907 came live they used to change the code every couple of months or so as at the time it was understood that access to the Satellite was restricted, it may be the code has changed.

It’s been a while since I had a motorised satellite dish but I can find no reference to Intelsat 907.There is Intelsat 901 at 27.5W.
Here are some currently active transponders on that satellite, if that is the one you’re using.

Just use 907 on Oyster. 901 moved into the same position. Cannot say if icecrpt will work. From comments on the forum I believe it does.

It was a simple satellite swap, one to another from 907 to 901
No other changes were made
Frequencies are the same.
Codes are the same (which have not changed for a few years now)

Are you sure you were locked onto the correct satellite?

Thanks for your reply. It wasn’t me that tried. I have to move my MH about 100 yards to see 907/901 because of trees. I’ll try in the next few days though.

We are set on Quicksat auto skew 85 cm dish and the Intelsat 907 is preset on our main control box. It may be we have not followed the start up thru the decoder box as we have no instructions as to set up and nothing comes up on the menu button. I am awating a reply from Falcon as it is 2 years (due to covid) since we have used it abroad and are out of practice. If I get reply I will be OK

There are no changes required to be made to the Oyster setup in order to locate 901.
As Satandpcguy said it's all the same and in the same position just a different bird.
