Insurance Refund

Just to let you know that we have got a refund on our unused Back Packer Insurance . We are with Insure and Go and they have refunded us pro rata the insurance that we didnt use due to returning early from our trip. So an extra couple of hundred quid to our next trip abroad. So if you have unused travel insurance it may be worth trying to get a refund or credit.
It was painless I just used the online chat function,

We got a refund from the caravan club for our Red Pennant unused insurance for our failed trip at Easter.
You have to call them it’s not automatic.

It depends on who you are insured with and whether it's an annual or single trip policy. I have a year policy with Asda and they have refused any pro-rata refund although I have asked them to review this in light of the fact that realistically we can't go to other countries due to not being allowed in, but I don't hold out much hope.
