Quote £1800
Ouch
It seems that most comparison sites and computer generated quotes don’t like over £100000 in value and the Motorhome just tops that by a bit.

So I guess would be interested to hear from anyone who has recently been quote for values over 100k

How much and by who

You could do that. But. If an insurance co can prove you have under valued something and therefore under insured it for that reason then they can adjust the claim and it could end in tears

Yes "averageing" might come into play if undervalued on proposal. Other factors may affect the premium. Eg: postcode, whether kept on drive or street, alarm or tracker, claims history, modifications, points on driver's licence, etc.

You could try a broker instead of comparison sites.

So if the Caravan Club wont go over £100k they re cutting a lot of Mhs out.

Nfu will do higher values and more oddities but only offer 3rd party for Croatia and Morocco at last check.

Don't know what the flag is on your avatar but does it mean you are not in UK?

Nfu will cover anything but they are not cheap.
I found them to be very reasonable considering the value of the vehicle they are covering and the windscreen cover they offer.

I am not knocking them, I have everything insured there, and don't know if you or anyone else knows, if you insure your house there you get travel insurance for very little extra thrown in.
But as I said before, nowhere near the cheapest.

£300 a year for ours albeit 15 years ncd and not breakdown.

Saga won't cover it because of the engine size.
Well ours is £287 but only because I have everything else there.
They don't do breakdown on motorhomes.

Flag is put on because I’m currently in spain on hols
I’ll try nfu

They came back cheaper on my rental properties cover, was surprised as I tried them for my pick up truck and they were way over others.

Adrian Flux will cover almost anything on wheels.
(Not saying they are the cheapest, but worth a call)

Aib are not bad. We've been with them from the start. £430ish with full European breakdown

Tried aib for a quote today ,asked for an email breakdown of cover was told they only discuss quotes over the phone “you get a breakdown of cover after you’ve taken it out” !!!!!!!?????

Hi
Got quotes from Adrien Flux for £117000 Carthago. Quotes online were initially around £800 to value at £99999 but £1600 at £100000.
I phoned to arrange insurance at £99999 admitting I paid£117000 and they agreed to insure at £117000 for £900 without any NCB.
Hope this helps
