Insurance help please, Southern Ireland

Hi there. I am finding it impossible to get even an insurance quote including breakdown cover in ROI for a large motorhome. I can get comprehensive cover which would keep me legal....
BUT, I have had no success finding a policy which includes breakdown cover over 8 metres or over 7 tons.
I have also tried finding a separate/stand alone breakdown policy without any luck.
Has anyone out there solved this problem??? Its looking like a deal breaker for my motor homing plans at the moment!

Sorry, perhaps I wasn't clear.
I am resident in ROI and the vehicle is registered here also.
UK based insurers don'r seem to offer cover for non-UK registered vehicles/non uk residents, unfortunately

Being a ROI resident it might well be worth trying ADAC the German company. I can't put a link as am on phone at the moment. They won't cover UK anymore but usually will EU members.

Thanks for the suggestion....I spoke to them on the telephone....no joy I'm afraid. You now need a German residential address for ADAC

yes,
those are the parameters set by then insurers here...the best offer available that I could find for breakdown cover here is within those.
I was about to buy a Concorde but those parameters are a problem with that. It feels too risky to go ahead without breakdown cover for europe. I tried some of the brokers who deal with trucking companies, but no joy there either unfortunately.
I did indeed pose the question here, but a summary of the responses read something like " those parameters include 99.9% of motorhomes in ROI"!. There clearly aren't many large motorhome registered here, and not only because of the VRT at 13.5%!

I posted here as a last resort, to see ids maybe there was an obvious solution that I hadn't thought of.
