Insurance Advice
The plan is to move out of our house when we sell it and for 3-4 months ‘go on the road’ (France/Spain) and then move into our new house but I do hear that insurance can be an issue on a motorhome, ie some companies won’t cover if you are not either renting or own a property. Comfort actually asked me on my renewal if I own or rent and whether I intended going full time in my motorhome. Not prepared to take the risk of ‘insure and don’t bother telling them if only a couple of months of full timing involved’ What do full timers do then for example??

Register yourself living at a relatives address. This will cover your bank and other institutions that require you to have a UK address. Then take out insurance for the amount of time you use your van abroad.
