Just in the process of buying first MH and would appreciate some thoughts on the beast insurance companies/brokers to approach. Best offer so far from Safeguard - has anybody had dealings with this company?

safeguard are an excellent company to deal with. competitive prices and a good product. Caravan club and camping & caravanning club both offer members good insurance. so does comfort

recently several members have insured with AIB who offer a discount to motorhome fun members

I am with Safeguard. Safeguard include breakdown cover which includes Europe, and its covers you over 3.5 ton. Its the AA who come out to get you.

My Dad is insured with C&CC and has his breakdown through them with RAC Arrivals His insurance/Breakdown combined is slightly higher than mine if you include Europe. Advantage he has is both his motorhome and car are covered by RAC Arrivals and he doesn't have to pay for the Europe bit if he doesn't visit Europe.
