Hi,
Before I hack my floor to bits wonder if someone with knowledge could help.
I am wanting to install a recessed circular table leg mount in my floor between the 2 captains chairs.
Wondered if anyone knows if I will have the depth or if I will hit something?
Ive enclosed a photo of where I would like to install it.
#THANKS

Can you not take the front trim off the step and have a look to see if anything is obstructing before making a big hole in the floor ?
From my experience: Always check and double check to make sure 100% before getting that drill out - better safe than sorry.
Otherwise your next thread would be : How can i fill in this 2.5" hole thats in my floor plus repair underneath what i have cut through - electrical/plumbing etc

Between the seat there should be access to the top of the fuel tank, take that hatch out and you may be able to see under the floor behind.
With such a small area I wouldn't think it would be strong enough for a table mount, these floors are only about 3mm thick with a core of polystyrene or PU foam.

As Lenny HB says. The only successful way to mount on a standard floor is to use long fasteners through a large plate on the underside.

Right well that scuppers that plan then. I cant get the front panel off to mount something to underside.
(I was only thinking of a very small circular drinks table.)

I installed my table leg with the Fiamma flush mount which meant I didn’t have to drill a large hole in the floor, just a pilot hole for the screws.

You mean surface mounted bracket (in picture attached)? How secure is it?

Yes that’s the one. Removed the humongous table in my Hymer and replaced with one made to my specifications by Rainbow Conversions and the table is quite solid. Easy to install/remove as and when required. Would do the same again if I changed vans.
