I’m putting in a TV and I thought while I’m doing it I’ll set it up so I can move it to the bedroom as well on a quick release bracket. There is already a 12v power supply or maybe it’s 240v, don’t know as haven’t traced cabling yet. Looks 12v to me. Can someone tell me what this connection is...presumably it for a TV that used to be there.

also if it is 12v is there an adapter that I can use to make it like the 3 pin one that goes into the back of the Avtex TV ?
Or do I have to do wiring ? Or install a 12v socket in bedr

Why’s it 3 pin now anyway what was wrong with the little one pin (?) one.

thanks

I believe it’s an attempt by Avtex to prevent damage caused by people using adaptors/transformers that supply incorrect voltages and amperages to their Tv’s.

Oh and to make your life awkward😂😂😂😂😂👍🏼
