We have external Fiamma security locks for our 2 entry doors on our A- class which are fine for when we leave the motorhome to go exploring.
However, when we are inside we do not engage them as it is an obvious danger should there be a fire etc.... (It would also be difficult to lock them from the inside of course.) we do sometimes feel that the original locks on these doors are pretty flimsy and will not pose any problem for any intruder.
Are there any simple-fit solutions such as bolt-chain or even latch that we can engage from the inside? Even if only to delay a forced entry to give me time to react and challenge before they are actually inside? (We have been quoted approx £500 for a set of inside locks but they sound like overkill and some Spanish motorhomers have had the simpler ones fitted.)
Thanks
