I’m hoping someone will know of an alternative source for Burstner G4 spotlights.

Pictures of front and back of current light - last picture of new light being offered.

One has failed, thought I’d better buy 2 as a precaution.

Price from Southdowns for 2 off spotlights: £82.72 😡

I would check with a multimeter to confirm voltage is present before spending any cash...
Assume you have tried a new bulb as well. (y)
Lots of 12v led spotlight choices out there, as said measure the size to see what fits..

Thanks - certainly similar-ish, but no diameters given in any descriptions - difficult to tell because no side view pics, but they don’t appear to be the same type of push fit.

I will make further enquiries!
"Item specifics" in the listings description state 70 x 70 x 10 meaning 70mm diameter by 10mm deep.

😂👍😂 I’d previously concluded it was a sealed unit so couldn’t change bulb.

Went back with a powerful head torch, a Stanley blade and renewed vigour - Ping!

Out popped the glass, put new bulb in 💡 💡💡

Agree about the Dometic ones that what was fitted around my rooflight lucky if they last two years.
I replaced the LED pcb's inside them with ones from Aten lighting.

I don’t think you need to buy the £9 one, it looks like the original bulb would like this

And the ones I sent link to should fit

The originals are surface mount LED's, I think it was the ones you linked too I replaced mine with.

You do need to be able to solder, you have to remove the pins and solder wire on.
