Fitted SiM to iNet box which seems to be OK but not really sure however my problem is about the remote control by Bluetooth.
It communicates and sets up OK but then says no devices found, so I ask it to search for devices and it goes away and comes back saying search successful but no devices found!
On the CP plus panel I have been to the spanner symbol and looked at what is connected and the iNet box is not there.
have done the old faithful trick of switching it off and on, refitting connectors, reconfiguring bluetooth but no joy.
As far as I can tell at the moment the heating and hot water all work vi the panel but would to fix the remote side properly, any ideas Gents?

TBH the iNet sytem on here is a bit of overkill by a previous owner as it is no big problem to walk down a 6M van and turn the heating on!

I just fitted one and had the same problem what I did to sort the problem was to do a reset on the CP plus panel it will then rebooted and then try a search and it should find your boiler and then all worked fine, when you turn the panel off after the reset you should see APP on the main screen

The Truma control panel needs to recognise the new set up. This is what the manual says.
“The iNet-capable appliances connected to the Truma CP plus control panel must be known to the Truma CP plus control panel. If this is not the case, you must perform the following steps on the Truma CP plus: Start the search of the appliances under menu item “Service menu” -> “RESET” -> “PR SET”. After confirmation, the Truma CP plus control panel initialises itself. “INIT ..” appears on the display while this is in progress. This stores in the Truma CP plus control panel the appliances that have been found.”

What's the point of iNet... ?
Is it technology for technology's sake...
Pretty handy for turning the heating or hot water on whilst you are away from the motorhome or tucked up in bed on a chilly morning. Also handy for monitoring the leisure battery voltage when you are in lockdown and the motorhome is in storage.

Really? To what end?
What can you do if you're in lockdown?

Timer works for me... or a quick twiddle of the knob when I need to make a call of nature...

I'd agree... except my telly has no manual controls on the set.

I'm all for automation if it serves a purpose...
it does have a good reason when setup. The owner can control the heating, check temperature and battery when not in or near the van. Preheat the van in storage before leaving home on a cold day. Turn the heating on for your dog from the bar

I like to think that I did this during my faffing about after fitting the SIM and the Truma Cp plus panel is showing all the appliances.
I will give it another go tomorrow afternoon by which time I shall be on a site hopefully relaxing.
Will report back later, thanks for the advice so far.

Well my van isn't in storage
Metatrak has a battery monitor but I don't see the point.
Not convinced about the cold van complaint, takes moments to warm up...
Heating on for the dog? You're having a laugh!

Anyway, I'm not adding anything constructive to the OP's issue... so I'm out.

It reassures me that my Efoy is keeping the battery charged, which in turn looks after the engine battery. Could I do anything about it in lockdown? Probably not but at least I don’t have to worry about it for no reason. Next winter if the voltage goes outside the specified parameters I will know it is time to change the fuel cartridge without having to drive over to check it. Anyway it sends me very polite text messages and I have no need to do any knob twiddling (they used to say you will go blind if you do too much knob twiddling ).

I've actually found the iNET box to be really useful as it can do some things that can't be done from the panel. For example it will show the hot water temperature fairly accurately and it can alert you by text if the temperature of the van drops below a set value (as well as other options such as above a certain value or the leisure battery value drops etc).

I like my gadgets but at nearly 300 quid no way, 50 quid I could be tempted.
To be fair... my van came with iNet ready.
The new models are iNet installed.

I probably would use it if it was there... but I wouldn't buy it as an optional extra.

Same place I got mine. Best price I could find.

Very good point. In the last couple of weeks I have saved lpg by checking the water temperature before turning the boiler on. Often it is plenty warm enough for a bit of washing up.

Using it at the minute to check the hab batteries whilst it's in at SAP having work done.

I had exactly the same problem when I installed my iNet and only understood the need to reset the CP on a further reading of the instructions. It seems the iNet gets the info it needs from the CP, not directly from the appliances and the CP only recognises the iNet after a new search of the network. I suspect the gas level control is different having a bluetooth connection directly to the iNet but not having one I can’t be sure.

Well after a walk, can of Guinness and a large G&T, I can report that a CP reset and then check via the index function says that all is well.
Thank you to all relevant replies, very helpful. As to why iNet, wouldn't buy it but previous owner left it so gonna use it.
Thanks again
