Just in case you want to drive your MH to India. I found out yesterday by accident. We now don't have to go to London to get fingerprinted!

Put in my new application, paid the fee and waited. No response!
After some digging I found out that the Paypal payment was rejected but Paypal did not notify me.
Paid again and we received our e-visas today, Excellent service.
I now have to find a way to cancel the appointment in London!

Way back in 2003, me and Mrs Emmit booked a stupidly cheap cruise that started in Mumbai.
We did our homework and discovered that we needed a visa to fly in and transfer to the ship.
Alarmingly, we had to travel to Brum to apply.
Spent however long getting there to be refused a transit visa by the scruffiest, oink hiding behind his half inch armoured plate glass counter.

His reasoning was that we might overstay our visa and live there? (Despite having the tickets in our possession.) Eh? What?

Anyway, we got a full visa (I think the clerk was on a percentage of sales) and travelled up to Gatwick to be told at the check in. "You know you're not going to India, don't you?"
A spurious excuse was given, however on joining the ship in Sri Lanka the real reason emerged.

The Emmit's had done the necessary and got a visa, The cruise director discovered half way across the Bay of Bengal that half of his guests couldn't leave the ship at the end of their cruise because they hadn't got a Visa of any kind to get into India to fly home so something had to be rearranged pronto.

We got our Visa money out of the travel Co.
