Does anyone know how to re-calibrate the fresh water tank sensor on a `66` Reg Bailey Approach Advance 640 via the Whale Seattle Control Panel.
I did it on my last MoHo, Autograph Approach 750 Alde system, but cant seem to find the mode on the Whale!
Any hints would be appreciated.

Further to above, having sterilised the water system and drained it, I thought I would look in the fresh water tank. Indicator on control panel showed 0% and internal water pump had stopped purging making you think the tank would be empty.
There was still about 5" of water in, exactly to the top of the tank internal pump.
There is no sump plug to empty the tank, (Icant find 1 anyway) but looking towards the back of the moho there is an outlet pipe with tap at the bottom right hand side of the tank. Tried draining the tank moving the tap to different positions but still wont drain!
Ended up force purging the pump by holding pump switch on control panel for a few seconds which makes the pump run until the tank was dry.
So tank is empty as is hot water heater tank by opening drain tap.
But there should be a way of draining fresh water tank via sump plug or other.
Anyone have an idea

if you can get to the internals of the tank put in a tank connector on the bottom or as near to the bottom on the side as you can get and put a tap on the end.

I'm a Progressing Newbie
Our fresh water sensor/gauge is almost useless.
Less than 25lt we’re shown as empty. Other 30lt we’ve a needle hard over showing FULL.
I did see the needle at about 40% once.
I guess we had 28lt left at the time ?

IMHO tank gauges are a waste of time.

More than toes wet now!
Grey water tank empty showing 50%
Fresh water overflowing showing 25%
The sensors get "dirty" and are useless.
This was a few weeks after I had done a recalibration.

Tank gauges are notoriously inaccurate.
Why bother trying to sort it, it'll only go wrong again.
Grey tank will be even worse.
Hi, yes I am aware of that, think everyone is. It was more why its not draining via outlet pipe. Might have to remove grit filter and drain from there. Thanks. G

It seems really odd that the water level gauges in most motor homes are inaccurate in this day and age. Nobody would buy a motorhome or any other vehicle if the fuel gauges weren’t reasonably accurate, which they are. Why don’t they use this technology for water?

Yea I agrea Pete.
I will go 1 step further and say I think the whole motorhome industry is technically flawed.
The chap that does some jobs for me works for 1 of the biggest Leisure vehicle companies in Scotland tells me some horror stories. NEW vehicles that have been stored outside pre-sales already soaking inside, floors soaking, wiring looms wrongly connected and so on.
If I didnt love my motorhome so much would be the last thing I would consider putting money into.
And some companies aftersales , thats another chapter!
