In store for a long time. Drop down bed up or down?

Whilst the motorhome is in store for probably a long time, should I leave the drop down bed up or down?

We've never not used it for long and we don't know!

Oh no! That's a third option.
I know in the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal but we still want to look after the van as much as possible

Down allows air to circulate, elevate the matress a little if you can.
