This has generally been the tour from Hell, beginning with a lack of bacon rolls in Malvern, increasing to attempted bike theft in Gravelines and onto odd electrical faults everywhere.
The last bit has been clutch failure beside the Mosel in Germany.
However thanks to Green Flag the van is now in a garage compound awaiting probably expensive repair and were in a surprisingly nice hotel.

Overall I’d rather be sitting outside a mobile van beside the river!

That`s terrible, the lack of bacon rolls must hurt the most ?
Hope you get the van sorted and back on the road soon.

If you are stuck for a day or two jump on a train and visit some of the other towns on the river.
Still a PITA though

Is the Green Flag breakdown insurance independent of your vehicle insurance or is it lumped in with it? Also did they send out an Engineer to try to fix it before they sent the recovery truck? Only asking as not happy with my current company and looking to change.
