Too true, it is a hotel car park that floods every year, they often ferry customers from surrounding dry roads by small boat to the hotel! It begs the questions as to who even thought it was a good idea in the first place and what sort of local authority planning committee said yes!
Similar issue with the previous park and ride, just a few hundred yards further along the same river, commuters left their cars in the morning before the rain to return to a small lake with the cars bobbing around like ducks in a pond.
