Burstner Ixeo 680g(y)

Many reasons why I would recommend but here are a few;
  • Full width end wash room.
  • Good size galley.
  • Great comfortable lounge, perfect for our inclement weather.
  • Electric drop down double bed.
  • Masses of storage.
  • Garage.
  • 6.9m length.
Would be difficult for us to find anything better, oh with the exception of @Robert Clark beauty(y)

Frankia I740 Plus, with Alde heating and a proper oven. A class with big end lounge, drop down double or 2 singles, loads of payload. This is my dream van, however just had quote, and with all the bells and whistles we would want it's £110,000!!!! This would be our 4th van in 4 years and somehow I just can't justify it.

Firstly I'd buy a lovely little bungalow with room at the side for ANY van .. then I think I quite like the one of I've got. :) Roll on my six numbers .. sigh.

Just having the van within easy reach would be AMAZING.

What I'd really like is a new one of what I already have, Toyota Devon Sunrise, but they no longer make that combination so it would have to be a Wildax Pulsar.
All facilities and small enough to use as a day car and go anywhere.
I travel solo so small is sufficient.
I use it as my daily means of transport so small is good.
It fits on my drive, fits on the smallest aire and down the narrowest lane and is inconspicuous when wilding.

I have to agree with @movan on that point. Although we have a good parking area, it would be nice to have it at the side rather than the back. We're more than happy with our Exsis for the three of us. Virtually park anywhere, no problem at supermarkets or most fuel places. As it's the same size (5.45 and 3.05 tall) as lots of vans and PVC Mohos, we can go anywhere white van man can go. Layout is ideal and it's like a tardis and the advantage of being a full A class.

I just bought a new 2 berth Euro Mobil 695EB, traded in the old 6 berth A Class and not regretting it at all. With rear singles her majesty can fidget all night long and I am blissfully unaware.
Reasons for buying......only two of us and one dog, easily stored next to house, lower profile so you do not need to be a mountain goat to climb in, unlike the A class, and still able to pull the Smart without knowing its there.

The Laika has everything we need just got to get through the medical at 70 to keep on driving it. For two people it's great. Lots of room and decent sized comfortable beds. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the Swift had but you cannot use a microwave without EHU or a large battery bank.

Looked at an unusual one the other day at Lowdhams. MH with a bed at the back and a pop up one on the roof. Only problem was build quality. The flyscreen was already hanging off where it had been caught. Possibly something to do with the low door entry.

Another vote for the Hymer Duomobile here.

There's a nice segregation between living and sleeping areas, plenty of work surface (for a MH), nice U shaped lounge with triple aspect, garage, big payload. Also at 8m long /2.35 wide it's not too big.(y)

As a fulltimer I would be torn three ways to be honest.
For pure comfort, I would have to go for the same RV that @Jim has.
For a mix of comfort and practicality I would go for a Hymer 584.
For pure practicality I would go for another self build based on a 5T Brand new Iveco Panel Van with extra high roof and 4.5 Mtr loadbay.

But then again, I loved my Eura Mobil and may look at another one.

@old-mo Hi Bro , we would keep our Hymer B544 as we presently have.
It's an a class with large lounging area ( room to seat 8) as opposed to a restrictive dinette and although a drop down bed it is of course already made up so just seconds to drop and climb in.
It is fully winterised with all compartments heated in addition to cab heating outlets meaning no cold spots , really toasty in winter.
Ours is 3500kg but could be plated at 3850kg is semi auto on 150 Fiat.

Any amount of money would not buy us a 3500kg van providing the space we have.

Out of interest, do you happen to know your available payload on the 3500?

After inclusive 75kg driver, 90%fuel , 20l water approx 400kg. It's awful tight especially following owning RVs but now limited to 3500kg so no choice.

Ahhhh VeryOldMoNoMotorhomeMan, you know that with this question you are mearly hedging around, but you know deep in your heart what you must do. Return to the fold where you belong, buy another RV, preferably of course a :inlove: Winnebago :inlove:.
