I suggest you look at the writers name. It's a joke surely.
I also liked this story (By Rob Banks Crime Reporter )
Woman crashed motor home using cruise control while making cup of tea
As to the truth of the stories I suggest you read the "about" page..
You can easily waste a wet afternoon on this site..
First of all he opens the door then he puts it in the cartridge after unscrewing the cap and getting a waft of stinking horribly smelly stuff from the bog
think its pull the other one
It's a spoof news website...
I'm sure if you do a bit of googling you'll find a true case of an American woman who did this with an RV and won damages from the RV maker.
I do so wish this wasn't ture...
Indeed and they don't hide it - its done for fun... and the notoriety when someone decides their stories are true..
Well it is distant memory, so you may well get your wish.
It's a cr...p story!
Snopes is your friend:
Versions of this story have been circulating since at least 1991 .
Indeed since the 70's fuel crisis has anyone ever tried to steal fuel?
...and variations of the "Cruise Control" legend have been around as long as the facility had been fitted to RV's
But folk have short memories & these thing come around as often as Christmas .
At least the Suffolk Gazette weren't trying to pretend it was true.
