If @JJ can do it so can I

These guests of ours at Jasmin camping were expecting a chilled weekend in the sun. But in true Portuguese style we woke them early and issued them gardening tools. :D

I've told them not to worry that it gets dark at 10 pm, I have torches that fit on the end of rakes and shovels;).

Fancy doing that to those poor frail old people. Poor old bloke at the back is only standing because the fork is holing him up.

Be careful Brian ..... no telling where that lady can stick that broom handle. .... ;)

Living the dream.
Don't like telling you this Jim, but those new plants in the trailer look a tad dead.

I do hope @Jim has checked those weeds are dead before he chucks them away.

While he worries about tree types and bee species, the rest of us are worrying about the Lions.

Excellent stuff...

We landowners have to make sure we are not taken advantage of...

Purely as a matter of record... how many minutes work did you get out of your two before they needed a break?

Did they supply their own gloves or did you rent them a couple of pairs?

JJ

Ed obviously has not had the fork induction course. Tell him it works better the other way up.

I take it a full RAMS (risk and method statement) was done before work commenced?

What a novel idea - sitting here on the Ile de Re I can see its benefits - and I agree Eddie needs a lesson in shovel/spade handling.....

... Carol also needs a lesson in how to hold the broom too ... especially if she wants to have a 'fly' around on it!

What a bonus, I love the sea but hate seagulls, messy noisy things. No Cliffs = No Seagulls. :) Not seen a seagul yet. My daughter lives down near Brighton and the seaguls are a proper pest

Were the weeds from around Carol and Eddie's pitch, before they were allowed to park up?

Gull nests are usually mats of herbaceous matter with a central nest cup. Nests are usually built on the ground, but a few species build nests on cliffs, including the kittiwakes, which almost always nest in such habitats, and in some cases in trees, and high places like Bonaparte's gulls. Wiki mate, not me!

They are still pests . I do not care where they nest. As long as it is about 100 miles from us.

You are all wusses ... so much hatred for a harmless little birdy.:whistle:
Little ... LITTLE !!!! Have you been close to seagulls Joy ... they are very, very, VERY big birds ... beautiful in my view, but certainly not small!

@Jim ... unfortunately the lack of cliffs doesn't mean you won't get seagulls ... we are inland with no cliffs round here, not for about 25 miles or so, and still we get them.
