Sorry to anyone in a PVC, we always miss waving as you look like a commercial van until you are level with us, then it's too late!

Right, I'm cream puffed with you..... ;) no waves??? not good enough!

More seriously, I wave if it is safe to do so and I see the other motorhomes.... I don't worry if I don't get a wave back (although we do keep a running tally for fun) - it just makes me smile when I get a wave.

I do tend tend to wave when I notice another MH although it amuses me how so many wave and then hardly even look your way or say good morning when on a site, maybe I should wave to them as I'm walking past while on site :)

I do........

Owned a couple of MGBGTs' back in the day, when the knees could take getting in and out of it ! You were part of a club too where all waved in passing. Now I have a larger vehicle and frankly wave at everything even when in the car !
Oh, that takes me back......those were the days:)...but tell me - did you wave to mg midgets?;)

Ah, size-ism! Does this happen in the MH world? We get lots of waves in our PVC (stop giggling at the back!) but then we have a satellite dish on the roof, which is fairly visible. Perhaps we might get less if we lowered it.

How is it not safe to wave? As in "I wave when it's safe to do so"

Lots of traffic moving fast so don't want a distraction.....
Also wouldn't wave if pulling away, one hand on wheel, one on handbrake and no hand free to wave with!
Sure there are other situations but you get the idea. :)

It pains me to admit it, but no I didn't. My excuse is that I was young then and not as wise and mature (?) as I am now !!:)

Are there rules for waving?

Left hand or right hand?

Royal type or full on mental shakes?

All very confusing.......
right hand index finger, raised wiggle, it shows you did see them but are not exhibitionist , known as the Yorkshire wave.

not long enough
is a nod as good as a wave, that's usually all I can do in time, but do look at my side window, most of my waving gets done as you are nearly past me (y)

But with the number motorhomes you see, if I nod, it will either look like I'm listening to headbanging heavy rock music or having a siezure.... :ROFLMAO:
