It’s a bit like the Hotel California..........
Has been much improved over the last year, and more improvements ongoing.

That's the way to go..........we did it 5 years ago down the road apiece.

When you find somewhere you like at the right price use it as a base

Found it, it was on here last year titled Has Mikkis been shut down or similar. Glad they are still open and doing well. john

Went there couple of years ago and they were having planning problems. However I'm told that has now all been sorted out.

Frankly, I'm surprised at it's description as an "aire". It's much more like a campsite than many campsites we've stayed on and we loved it.

That might have been the Chicken Run...

Haven't heard anything about the Chicken Run recently, we've stayed there too. I was under the impression it had closed.

You’ll be lucky.....I suggest trying to book, it’s pretty popular! We’ve tried to get a ‘better’ pitch as we’re staying, but they’re mostly booked!

Thats normally the case anywhere at that time of the year. I don't normally book as i never know where i might end up from one week to the next.But i will drop in and check it out when i am in that area.Hope you get a move to a 'better' pitch.

Hmm, I believe this was my last sighting of Dave in 2014, pork pies seemed to be the last thing on his mind!!

There’s plenty of space at the moment, the summer holiday tourists are manly gone, the very long termers are all still here, and just waiting for the snowbirds in another month or two. The guvnor is also working hard creating another 30/40 pitches in a new area. I expect you’ll always get on, but Christmas I’d expect to book!
