Hi everyone.

We are a group of friends who are getting together 1-5th June with a mixture of motorhomes, caravans and some with neither who will need accommodation.

Any suggestions of places we should check out that can accommodate the above and ideally have a pub within walking distance. Central England would be good.

Many thanks in advance.

Woodhall Spa. Great campsite with "Pods" but also a hotel nearby for those who don't want to "camp".

There is a small pub with attached motel next to it. Last time I was there the pub was great with really good food and service. The motel seemed clean and tidy from the outside.

Just down the road also within walking is also a big hotel.

Woodhall spa itself is a lovely village and The Kinema in the Woods is worth a visit.

weve just booked a family get together early June for two motorhomes and 5 pods at The Norman Knights - perhaps that might be worth considering?

A lot of ccc club sites have pods and safari tents

Look at messingham grange with clubhouse on site and 3 pubs about a mile walk.

Parkdean resort in bowness on Windermere, parking for motorhome and caravans, caravan and lodge hire or loads of bread and breakfast places and hotels, restaurants and bars all within 10 minutes walking distance.

Petwood hotel looks nice and i definately fancy kinema in the woods

We are booked up for the dates you require, but for the rest of you, please keep us in mind.

We are Funster friendly at Woodside Field and often cater for small exclusive groups and can provide a small marquee with furniture and lights for a group social.
Two local pubs with accommodation, and within walking distance, both dog friendly. :sun:
