Hi,

My husband needs wifi when we're away to enable him to work. We currently use a EE onetouch remote Wifi device (Alcatel Y800) but sometimes we're unable to connect.

Can anyone tell me how the iboost works? Will boost the signal of our device? We pay a monthly subscription to Onetouch for our device - would having iboost mean that we could dispense with it entirely or does it need this to connect?

Any advice/observations would be welcome!

Thanks

Hi Oriel, I would give them a ring on 0113 815 1120 they are very helpful. I have the Iboost directional which I found to be superb. Basically the antenna pulls in any wifi signal that is within range. It is connected to a wifi router which you can connect to via lan or wirelessly. All your devices then can connect to the Iboost. If you are with BT there are plenty of wifi hotspots.
Phil.
