I need to source a new PCB, the chap i sent it to dose not repair the model !!!

I have started checking ebay, i have found one in completed listings so i have message them to see if they still have it.

I have also messaged Brownhills to see if they have the part.

Would it be just as easy to swap the hole boiler for a newer model?

Any help welcome xxxx

Havnt read all this thread, but have you contacted the makers, by all accounts they are very accomadating and only at burton.

In fact I see you are in Manchester, so it's only down the m6 to the a50 and they are right at the side of the road, at the burton junction no need to go as far as burton.

From what i have read the parts where discontinued by Truma a long time ago and the parts have dried right up, but your right its worth a message x

Beginning to look like a new one, then I'm afraid,you have the danger now of shelling out then something else going.

Sorry to hear of your continuing problems.

It looks like your only alternative is to purchase a replacement boiler.

Suggest you contact Darren Leadbetter for advice on 01636 704201 (and ask for Hymer Parts). He has worked on Hymer Spare Parts for many years and knows the industry inside out. He is a very helpful guy and should be able to suggest a suitable replacement boiler. He may even know where you can purchase refurbished boilers.

I have found a pcb! I messaged a chap on eBay who had a ened listing for one, he messaged back and as he has a couple !!! But he wants me to phone him first as he wants to make sure it's the board and not the boiler as he dose not want me blowing up a new pcb lol

I will phone him later today when the kids are busy and I can talk, and update every one

Hi all,

Just keep you up dates, the 2nd chap I found has a stash of this boiler, he has 3 full boilers !!! Also is an electrical genius and enjoys fixing broken PCB ! He has posted me out a nice new one.
He explained that my PCB has signs of de scaling cemicals on it at the very top as the copper track had done something.
The water pressure problem is now fixed after playing for hours to get the air out, I finally got it out by opening the tap and new manual dip valve at the same time.

So hopefull I the new PCB will he hear on on Monday and we will be up and running.

This is the chaps details, if any one needs them to help out with this boiler.

Update - I have received the new PCB today, fitted it and now we are fully up and running, hot water and got air

Now time to apply my tiny bit of spair time to fixing the step

When we had a problem with our step, it turned out to be dirty earth connections under the van near the step, just cleaned them off, not had a problem since worth trying.
