Itunes software is different from that on your iPod, so it should make no difference if it was upgraded. Is it the ipod software that has updated?

What version software do you have on your ipod?

How does it connect to your sound system USB or bluetooth?

    Hi Roadrunner,
Connect your Ipod to your computer and open Itunes, on the left hand side you will see a panel headed 'Devices', your ipod will be listed there.
Click onto your device and another window will open (from the tabs along the top 'Summary' should be highlighted. A section on this page will be headed 'Version'.
Within this section you can click onto 'Restore to previous' that will put you back to where you were. I think the latest upgrade is version 4 but it is not suitable for earlier ipods.:thumb:
