Been around for a few years and are very very good. I used to ride for a job and a colleague of mine had an off at 120mph on a track wearing a Dainese suit... not a scratch on him or his helmet. I wear an internal "vest" like this one and never used it in anger yet but I know another guy who hit a car from behind at 50 mph+ wearing an over suit one and it saved him, and his vital organs! <Broken link removed>

Airbag suits are like insurance.. its a waste of money till you actually need one. They have been developed through Moto GP over the last few years, they inflate off a sensor, save a lot of collarbone and other injuries. For the road , I wouldn't have one over, a good suit and decent back protector, cos I am a tightwad, and the suits I have seen with it in are the more race oriented ones.

As with everything you get what you pay for, $10 head , $10 Helmet etc ,
