Attention grabbed! Does anyone know how I can increase the pressure of the water to flush my Thetford loo?
It does not have a separate pump or flush water tank but appears to have a solenoid? that allows water to flow when the flush switch is operated. Definitely a Thetford.C260 cassette and porcelain bowl.

Ours has similar set up and no issues with the pressure.
Do you have a block or scaling in the pipeline

No scaling as it is fairly new. I suppose a blockage may be possible. Could that happen on a new setup?

easily, a bit of plastic swarfe from cutting pipes will restrict the flow

If i take the pipes off either side of what I believe is the solenoid what would be the consequences. I guess that the pipe shall we say "bowl side" will just let water drain back that is already in the pipe. Does the pipe leading to the solenoid have water pressure in it? Meaning turn the pump off, remove pipe and then switch pump on again to flush through any debris. Would the system have to be primed after that?

No need to prime the system and I would check that nothing is blocking the solenoid.

turn the pump off and there is no pressure if you open a tap briefly. Take the pipe off, point it in a bucket and have an assistant turn the pump on for a few seconds. It will clear the pipe and show the pressure. Trace back to the pump or forward to find the restriction

What type of water pump do you have & is the pressure good at the taps?
Last year I replaced my submersible pump with a Shureflo, there was a noticeable difference in the loo flush, a pain in the butt as it uses more water well that's my view.

A pain in the butt Lenny! Have you turned it into a bidet with that much pressure? Still saves on loo roll!
It is not a submersible pump. Without looking it is a Sureflo (or equivalent) but definitely not submersible. Good pressure at taps.
