Its a perfect match, paint and body style. I can get the Smarty and the mobility scoots in there, and all the rest of the stuff.

That trailer would be perfect behind the 760.

Never knew RMB made trailers. I suppose the discerning customer occasionally requested them..

You seriously gonna buy it? Wouldn't blame you one iota. :thumb:

It just goes to show you never stop learning. It was a new one on me and was passed over from another site. 26000 Euros was a hell of a lot of money for a trailer when it was new, but I suppose if someone has just spent half a million on a new RMB then its only back pocket money.
Looking at the price of race shuttles here in the UK, it does not seem expensive now though.

Well have you made an offer????

Still in the process of wondering where to park it. With 2 RMBs, a Joyner sand rail and trailer, Smart car and trailer, Skoda Octavia, fishing boat and all the other toys, am getting a bit pushed for room . I suppose I could load most of it in the trailer and save space

So, a little more info, it transpires that the trailer was made by Fitzel, I like the way it works very much. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjEgbtS0yC8"]Fitzel EURO 27-20/41 ZW - nalo?ení Sharana pomocí ru?ního navijáku - YouTube[/ame]

It was then sent to RMB who built the coachbuilt body. This was insulated and built to the same spec as there motorhomes.

What I thought of doing was fit a Heki roof light and build a mezanine floor at the front the same size as a double mattress, this could be used by the grandchildren when they visit. Fit an Eberspacher diesel heater with small fuel tank underslung to keep the thing warm in winter. I can fit the Smart car, mobility scooters and all the rest of the must have stuff inside and perhaps fit an awning that could be used as undercover for the scooters.

You've talked yourself into it. ::bigsmile:

Nicely engineered trailer. One of a kind in the UK, too.

Male Funsters will be in awe of you and the female Funsters will want your babies.

Well, OK, maybe that's a little far-fetched. But it'll be one hell of a unit. :thumb:

Has Pat seen the video?

Does she think she can operate the system whilst you and Smudger are having a beer?

JJ

She has been measuring up wardrobes to see if they will fit inside. Something about it would be ideal as a walk in closet....Me being a country boy, I thought a closet was a lavatory .

Well have finally got round to taking a couple of photos of the trailer. It has not been an easy task as through my own stupidity I did not measure the hight of the Smart car. Those damned things although are short, are high, and it would not go through the rear roller door of the trailer. So, got shut of the Smarty and bought a Ford Streetka ragtop. That goes in fine, but not enough length now to get the scoots in. So now bought 2 X folding scoots. Anyone want to buy 2 big off road mobility scoots ?. Most of the alterations are now done on the donkey and the cart, and have fitted an extra 110 litre fuel tank to the bus today ready for the off in September. Anyway, here is the rig at Haganaps Wrenbury bash the other week. Many thanks Jim, I can now start posting photos again.04-08-14 002.JPG 04-08-14 001.JPG

Thats about the gist of it Carol. I had it measured up to the inch and everything fitted perfectly. Just goes to show, never take anything for granted. One good thing has come out of it, I quite like this little roadster.
