I was shocked to the point of disbelief when someone told me how much they were paying for a fairly ordinary Hymer, so I decided to look and found this, tbf it does look expensive but it doesnt seem long ago that €100k bought you a very well specced one.

that's nice, and priced about right in todays market.

Well I'm sure somebody will like it  not me though, far too red, seems like a lot of Hymers are over €200k so this one has about €30k in special paint going by N+B prices then the leather or whatever the red stuff is, fancy alloys etc etc, the world's gone mad but it gets the dealer recognised and talked about, Binder has a habit of doing things to various Morelo and it usually involves his trademark orange,

I love the colour but really dont get this fad for dull finishes

Closer to 4 years ago Jon and then it depends on spec €400k for a decent spec Palace now:LOL: Concorde centurion on Daily are nudging €500k
I can see a new Morelo Home on there for €260k. Probably a better choice.

I guess it depends what you value most Jon, the Home most likely better living space the Hymer the better drive

I reckon Morelos build quality is better and there would be more usable space in it. Im also not convinded about Merc reliability these days. I was talking to somebody very recently who was telling me about Sprinters having sensors to do with emissions that regularly fail and are expensive to replace

Ignoring the colour there is no denying the quality is outstanding. I get notifications of Palmo bespoke Motorhomes and some are truly spectacular.

It looked even worse in the flesh when we went to Binder for our Hab check🤢

Oh yes and if I remember it was a wrap not painted.

Does wrap repel bird poo?

Seagulls are equal opportunity poo droppers, they are not impressed by Hymers or Morelos. It sets like concrete. Horrible.

If you go onto Palmowski website, they have another special that is painted black. Bet that will get hot inside in the sun.

Over €128k over base price if you can stomach the red probably a lot better finished inside than the standard offering but the bodywork will still corrode like all Hymers do.
