This weekend has seen the start of the tiger mozzies here in my part of Catalunya - previous weekend there was nothing but as I chatted to family outside yesterday evening, the swarm was at least 10 round my legs. I got 2 - don't know how that'll affect the future population but any mozzie swatted early in the season means millions less later!

Mozzies - particularly the tigers - are a truly monumental pain in the arsx

Don't be put off! Yes, we have Tiger mozzies, blue crabs and Asian Hornets now - as well as the brown marmorated stinkbugs - but that's all fine!!!

This is the reality of out situation at the moment and should you be afraid, then invest in insect repellent! I understand that garlic tablets and vitamin E are a very good supplement for avoiding biting insects!
