I'm a newbie
I'm having so much fun in my back garden which is costing me nowt in site fees, nowt in travelling and no stress or speeding fines. The only draw back is the weather, I can't remember when we've had so many barbies, drunk so much wine, so many beers and the wife hasn't stopped baking since she's found somewhere to buy flour. I'm getting fatter by the day but I'm quite happy whiling away the time sat in my deck chair, glass in hand, listening to bird song. Unfortunately I know it won't last, the rainy season will no doubt soon be upon us and spoil my little paradise but hey, until then no worries.

Here too, and now we can have a round of golf too! What more could we want?

Oh yes, cuddles with children and grandchildren :crying:

Whilst my Moho is my daily drive it's primary purpose is to take me & motorbike to the Isle of Man TT & Classic TT and provide accommodation when I'm there (2 x 2 week trips) both events cancelled this year

It also gets used for the classic race weekends or classic bike events - none so far this year

A planned trip to Slovenia in August for paragliding/motorcycling/chasing women/drinking beer/etc probably not going to happen

So that just leaves a pre Christmas 4 week trip snowboarding in Austria, but that's dependent on snow

Given that in Wales we are still in full lockdown it's sat on my drive for the last 10 weeks (so have my motorcycles, apart for a 12 mile essential journey on one of them)

Oh well, that's life - I'm still smiling - life's to short to be miserable 🙂

Oh to be in Dorset now that lockdown's here ... or words to that effect! Oh yes, it is glorious here in God's own county with the clear blue skies, sparkling seas and verdant countryside - and all to be visited by bumbling around on my little 125 cc Honda doing over 150 mpg- and getting to sleep in your own bed at night. Mind you, life on the road in the MH ain't bad either, but I think that has had a red card for this year at least.

I know how you feel.We moved into Stratford upon Avon 6 months ago, camper went into storage!Plan was to get away in it a lot more this year!Weekends away,Weeks in France as we normally do.Up to Harrogate for the Gilbert &Sullivan festival.Down to Abbey Wood for the theatre in London.but hey ho.We now walk into the country along the river everyday for our excercise ,sit in the garden with a drink!, or two.Last time I put fuel in car was February! We would still like to think we may be able to salvage something of our Camper plans but who knows!Got to stay safe that’s the main thing!,

You can be sure that when we are allowed to travel widely, the rainy season will begin. In ever the optimist.

We should be down there on the race course for August bank holiday. It's a Snellville club annual rally. If its not cancelled

I would normally post:

"you'd better do it this year - otherwise you'll be a year older before you do"

But in these unusual times:

"you'd better do it next year - otherwise you'll be 2 years older before you do" 🙂

Should be in Scotland now on our first big to us ,trip😕
Still buying bits n bobs for our camper and it’s to hot to sit in the garden at the minute for me, seem to be spending to much cash on the garden at the minute must confess it’s getting me down now but I have my health which is the main.
Because I’m missing going away it means we might extend our usual season to include October 🙏🏻

Bought a Lay-Z-Spa for the back garden with the money we would have spent in Yerp. Stuck the spa inside a pre-motorhome inflatable Kampa thing and now can use it in all weathers.

Or I think we can. When we get some all weathers, I'll let you know.

The good thing about the spa is that floating in it (it's a big model), I don't feel quite such the tubby git that the mirror and scales suggest I am.

Making bread nearly every day. Loving it, although dreading the day when I displace enough water to slop over the sides of the spa.

We are not going away for our three weeker in August now, but looking at a two weeker in October. Hopefully anyway.

Not me...I get bored sitting in the garden all day....like to be swimming or hiking in the mountains...or sitting in sunny shade dappled squares having entrecôte frites....not much scope for that in Winchester.

I'm in my 75th day of lockdown and really enjoying being in my peaceful home and garden, talking to my beans and flowers without thinking that I 'ought' to be going away while the weather lasts.
I'm just thankful that the lockdown is taking place now and not during the nearly three months of near continuous rain that preceded it.

At 82 I'm only too aware of that my friend. I started racing when I was 14, scrambling it was called then, went on to vintage road at 19 on a fore and aft Douglas twin flat tank. Got engaged and that was that, bought a kart, then went on to race a hydroplane on the broads when I moved up there, kids came along etc and time went on.
