Hi everyone. We just took the plunge and bought ourselves a Swift Escape 694. It seems perfect for me, the wife and the two puglets.

We’re on our third night of our first road trip and we’re listening to torrential rain in Lincolnshire.

Good times.

Love it! Nothing better than being all cosy listening to the rain battering down.

Hello and welcome, we've just had a whole week of rain in Scotland. You'll soon get used to it, and the sunshine!

I'm listening to rain falling on the van roof in France. Only difference is here the wine is cheaper. :)

Welcome!

Hi and welcome, our first solo trip couple weeks ago, weather was tipping it down on the Saturday night, half expected the ducks to pop in for cover, but he's nice to be cosy indoors, best of all no leeks!, Enjoy

Our first shakedown in the Peak District was apocalyptic... we needed an ark not a motorhome :)

Need to get away again.., still have 11 days holiday to use before year end

How else do you check for leaks?
Haha. Funny you should say that. As we were driving away from the dealer a few weeks ago, it started to rain heavily and we noticed a big leak where they’d just fitted a new awning and forgotten a seal.

The camping field next to our hardstanding is a couple of inches under water. The dogs love it. We have to move on today though for a couple of days in Crawley.

Best to find them quick (y)(y)
