We’re on our third night of our first road trip and we’re listening to torrential rain in Lincolnshire.

Haha. Funny you should say that. As we were driving away from the dealer a few weeks ago, it started to rain heavily and we noticed a big leak where they’d just fitted a new awning and forgotten a seal.

The camping field next to our hardstanding is a couple of inches under water. The dogs love it. We have to move on today though for a couple of days in Crawley.

How else do you check for leaks?

If you have a leaking skylight for example simply lay a piece of fresh fish directly underneath it

Come back in the morning,. if the fish is still there, the seal's gone
