Im looking to but an exhaust for a 1993 Nissan cabstar 2.5L or 2.7L or 1992, 1994, or whatever but no where has it, ive ordered from 2 ebay suppliers whove categorically confirmed they have it and then after my order, cancel saying they dont have it, cant find it etc.

Ive tried many garages also.

Any ideas?
Any cabstar scrap yards?
Any places to buy van and truck exhuast parts?

My MOT is already overdue. Its becoming a real pain.

Hope they got it say they have

Try GT exhausts via google, they manufacture on site

May be a silly question but have you tried a Nissan garage? It would be worth getting a price from them and may save you a lot of faffing around trying to find a pattern part

OP whats your location ? There are custom exhaust firms all over the place . I had one make a stainless manifold for the gennie on my American RV ended up cheaper than sourcing one from USA .

Im in the south of Buckinghamshire.

I tried Nissan also, they simply told me that the parts were unavailable. I asked even about the possibility of them getting it from Japan, but no :(
Whats the ball park range figure i should be looking at for a custom stainless one?

Last year at about this time I was given an advisory on the front pipe of our Hobby, (same front end)
A week later I woke the good peeps of Chicklade when the front pipe parted company with the rest of the system.
I had to be low loaded home from Honiton because the two exhaust places didn't have/couldn't get a replacement.
It took my garage three attempts to get the right part.
Sorry to be the messenger of doom.

Custom exhausts are not a black art.

Whilst your m'home is too large for their workshop AA Silencers in Stafford make custom systems and custom mods all day long.

Jetex Exhausts in Stratford have an online catalogue of individual parts to buy.

I once used Jetex parts to create a 4" exhaust for a Renault Magnum. Parts total was @£150. An OE exhaust over £1000.

I've also built and repaired many car exhausts this way (my own cars).

Look on the bright side. A custom unit may flow better and weigh less.
