Hymer S700 2.9

Anybody heard of any going for sale please let us know, like the 1996-2000 models with the older 2.9 engine, I know its a bit underpowered for some unlike the later 2,7cdi, buts a good old reliable plodder.

A 98, 99 or 2000 model would be nice with front cupboards rather than the pull down bed.

I know the older ones with the one piece fibreglass roof are reliable but I don't think Caroline would go for one of them.

I will bump the thread occasionally throughout the year.

Sorry not heard anything, Edgehill did have a Flair on a Merc a while ago, just in case you are open minded still.

Was looking for the older Merc 2.9 as more reliable than the 2.7 and cheaper. Yes Edgehill still have the Flair on the merc 2.7

If we had the funds it would be an Iveco 3.oLitre same as your set up.
