hymer s560 pedal vibration (1 Viewer)

Hi i have a hymer s560 1993 2.9 mercedes auto , it has a strange problem where when you rev the engine the accelerator pedal vibrates and then when the revs drop off the body judders quite alot, when it warms up its better. I was thinking it was probably engine mounts has anyone had this issue??

Throttle parallel vibration

Could be something out of balance on engine.Ie crankshaft damper, clutch etc or engine mounting? Best of luck. Terry

If its better when it has warmed up I would suggest it something to do with uneven firing.

With a Merc diesel of that age I would imagine its done a few thousand kms. It sounds like an injector down. Get the injectors tested first, thats a good start without much cost. Does it smell of unburnt diesel on cold startup. Thats a sure sign of a leaking injector nozzle.
