Last time we had our S740 (616 chassis) regassed I had it done by a garage. Can't tell you exactly but it was in an awkward place in front of the engine and behind the grille.

If is habitation A/C as far as I know they cannot normally be regassed ????

we went to one some years ago, they gave up after half an hours hunt under bonnet and on line ?

used a local independent in the end

when we took our Flair in they knew straight away where it was on the IVECO and it was accessible OK it still leaked afterwards but they re-gassed for free once I had changed a pipe.

We had our cab ac regassed at a Mercedes Commercial dealership whilst on our travels. I notice you’re in Lancaster, so I might be worth contacting Cicely Commercial in Blackburn. We take our van there for servicing/MOT’s.

thanks for the info, I'm currently in Spain however problem resolved. the gas connection is on the front bulkhead behind the big black box sitting on top of the engine. I've regassed and now ac working fine again.

all sorted, regassed and cooling fine. freon connection behind big filter box on top of the engine.
